Young Laureates selection process

Hundreds of institutions, organizations and individuals around the world were invited to suggest names of potential Young Laureates for the first series of this extension of the Rolex Awards for Enterprise. Rolex received about 300 nominations, of whom nearly 200 submitted applications. The Young Laureates Programme is open to 18- to 30-year-olds by nomination only.
